Hi Helgi,

I agree - wvdial IS an old faithful AND a good choice - since upgrading
to 7.0 (using, admittedly, the free give-away which came with last ed. of
'Linux Format'), although I can use kppp, I get a flash-screen which comes
up which tells me my kernel does not have ppp support - which is rubbish.

With wvdial I get no such annoyances.

Regards,

Stephen :-)
