Hi Gang,
Sorry for another KDE2 question - I don't intend to sound negative notes about this excellent project;
but I would really appreciate some help. I have installed the latest beta on 2 SuSE 6.4 machines, and on one the main font used for menus, etc, has suddenly turned into gibberish. 'Suddenly' as in, worked fine and whole system closed down normally, but fired it up yesterday to find all the screen fonts had turned into unreadable geometric shapes and garbage.
KDE1 starts and behaves perfectly - but I haven't a clue where to look for the problem, anyone got any ideas?
Thanks all,

I found this happened when I tried to change things in Personalization in the control center in KDE2. Goofy looking alien fonts, right? I would just delete the .kde2 file in home and let it rebuild. I stay away from changing language now. I also found that any desktop links I made in KDE2 would invalidate the same link in KDE, so in my own simple-minded way, I just created a new user, Tom2, and the two versions of KDE don't fight anymore.
