Hello everybody, I like to get a digicam. This means trouble for a linux user. ;-( I need some advice / confirmation on reading digicam memory modules like smart media, memory sticks etc. I found a shop that let me try, but I didn't know were realy to look for. The memory card was recognised by my laptop, ide drive hdc. This is were my trouble started. I could not mount it. ;-( Beeing in a hectic store with no real and good ideas -happy to find someone let me try- I gave up. Is there anybody out there that uses a laptop w/ pcmcia adapter to read out his/her digicam? Did I miss something obvious like mounting a partition instead of the whole thing?
