That may be part of my problem. I checked the acceleration button during the initial
install. And have been unable to find anything which subsequently allows me to reverse
this.
I have actually got round to reading the update manual, and now have my system running
Version 4. However the suggested resolution and colour depth crashed X and locked my
system. The best I can manage is 800 x 600 16bit colour.
I suspect this may be due to my selection of the accelerated option.

Is it possible to manually edit a file....and if so....what one?

Regards

Brian
