I have installed DB2 7..1 on Linux SuSE 6.3. I know all is well with the database because I am able t connect to it from a windows machine. The problem comes in trying to run the db2cc locally. When I try to ruun it, I get an error: # db2cc /usr/lib/db2/db2inst1/sqllib/bin/db2cc: jre: command not found Looks to me like there is no Java runtime on my machine. I know there are a number of different flavors of the java runtime for Linux. Can someone give me a link to the java runtime I should be using? If the runtime comes in a tar file, where should I install it?
