Apache - latest version (recomended - if you have not already got it) JServ (latest) JSDK (from Sun) GNU-JSP
I have found the documentation for these to be very good indeed. The step are these:
Install the JSDK - making the jskd.jar available through your CLASSPATH Variable Compile and install Jserv. Configure Apache to work with jserv, it is worth noting here that if you have any other packages to use, then add them into the jserv configuration files.
test the JServ module - test classes come with the distro. Install JSP Configure jserv and apache, test jsp.
As I said the instructions are very good and quite straight forward to follow.
Hope this helps
Pete

Hi all,
I want to add JSP & Sevlet capabilities to my PHP3 + MySQL + Apache setup. I use my intranet server for testing purposes .
My hosting company uses the TWZ JDBC driver, Jserv and GNU-JSP . They've also asked me to get Tomcat and Sun J2SE ( JDK 1.2.2 )
So far all i've done is installed J2SE to /usr/local/sun/jdk1.2.2 and tested the 'Hello World' functionality ..
What do I need to do next ?.. I am totally new to java Admin .. I need help with the sequence of steps, the names of packages that i need to install etc.. Is there a tutorial that explains all this ?
Best Regards
Anurag
