Greetings!
It is possible to have software raid work with an extended partition?
The first three partitions are hda1 (/boot), hda2 ( /swap) and hda3 (/).
The fourth partition, hda4, is the extended partition. Inside the extended
partition is hda5 (/home) and hda6 (/pub). I would like to mirror hda4
(hda5, hda6) on a second, similarly configured second hard drive. The
software RAID how-to shows hda4 as a primary partition, but I didn't see
anything about hda4 being an extended partition. I would think it would
work since everything within hda4 will be mirrored on the second drive.
Thanks!
Christopher
