Hi Steven et al!
I gave up. In SuSE 6.3, I had a very hard time time to get my
Woodoo 3000 AGP to work properly. In 7.0 it's even worse. I
can't select 1024x768 despite trying Yast2, sax and sax2.
I erased all of it and reinstalled 6.4 and now I'm selecting
what I need in small chuncks from the 7.0 DVD-ROM.
The books, however, are nice. Surely, the functionality of
books is easier to evaluate than proggies. The install
process of 7.0 started as usually with 'Have a lot of fun'.
Perhaps 'fun' should've been replaced by 'experience'.
Cheers,
Niels
