[SLE] Online Help - Apache Doc Server Permissions???

I have apache running on a 6.3 version SuSE server. I have been trying to
get a local document server working. So far I have successfully got all
online help runnning with the exception of local Full Text Retreival
searching.
When I select Full Text Retreival netscape tries to open
htdig/search.html. I then get a messages that I don't have permission to
access that page. I checked in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs and there is a
link from htdocs/htdig to /opt/www/htdocs/htdig/search.html.
How do I set the permissions for access to this file???
