Hi there SuSE people. Here is a SENDMAIL solution for spam attacks from sources with no Return-Path: I seems to work - I took the structure for the solution from the sendmail filter for the ILOVEYOU virus. LOCAL_RULESETS # You just need enough of a pattern to match. # Follow these instructions exactly # No quote marks, no tabs, absolutely nothing in # parentheses (like these, they are considered comments # and will be removed before they get to the rules.) # After the exact thing, then a TAB, and the $#error. # Note, the $* matches anything, so its useful for # wildcarding. This also scans all messages with # Subject: headers and invokes a rule, so there is # a performance hit. HReturn-Path: $>Check_RP D{MPat2}<> D{MMsg2}No Return-Path Clear Off Spammer... SCheck_RP R${MPat2} $* $#error $: 553 ${MMsg2} RRe: ${MPat2} $* $#error $: 553 ${MMsg2} Hope this helps someone.
