I do not know which problem with SuSE-6.4 glibc they encountered, but
I found one yesterday trying to compile festival: they have their
libtermcap.a library and libtermcap.so link stuck in the directory
/usr/lib/termcap/ instead of /usr/lib/ for some reason without
including /usr/lib/termcap/ in the ld configuration. (This was the
first problem with SuSE-6.4 glibc I found, but it might be the one
they are referring to because the error message can take a while to
figure out -- I just did a:

ln -s /usr/lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8 /usr/lib/libtermcap.so

but I am still very curious why they thought the link should be in
/usr/lib/termcap/ and would love to hear their reason, since they seem
to be the only distribution to put it there.
