Hello,
What is the best way to enable full-duplex, 100baseT on a system with the network drivers loaded as modules? In conf.modules? Anyone have the options for the tulip mod?
From my experience (I have 3 tulip cards) it is enabled automagically. I know the card has an auto-sensing feature, so it may be using this. My hub as well has auto-sensing.
If you have one of the new linksys cards which uses the ADMtek Comet or Centaur chips, Donald Becker just posted an answer this AM to the tulip list about them and full duplex: [snip] With some cards, if you have a full duplex connection you may need the latest driver: ftp://www.scyld.com/pub/network/test/tulip.c [snip] You can view the archive of the list somewhere around: http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/tulip The subject was: Re: [tulip] Linksys 10/100 network everywhere pci card Hope this helps. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
