Yes, we have a version of SuSE for Sparc based systems. It's labeled 7.0 but is our first step towards Sun hardware. It's pretty damn stable and if your system is 64 bit then you will be able to install a 64 bit system. 7.0 is only available through OEM's and from our FTP site. When 7.1 comes out you will be able to buy a boxed edition which will be much more polished. It will not have a personal and pro edition..it will just be a single 6 cd edition. I am " the sparc " guy here in Oakland..I started working with Germany on this a few months ago (so take it easy on me ;). Anyone who wishes to more info feel free to mail me and I shall also try to get that Sparc list kicking again... * Guy Van Sanden (sienix@flashmail.com) [000830 07:26]: -->Does anyone know whether I can run SuSE Linux on a Sun -->(Sparc20)? --> -->Or, if not, is there a Linux distro for that platform? -->Maybe even FreeBSD? --> -->It's a small experiment we're setting up here.
