Hi, I am completely exhausted installing JVC CDR/W on the Toshiba Tecra 8000. I am using SuSe 6.4. Adaptec SCSI and JVC CDR/W. All of them must be supported. My system recognize perfectly all hardware at the boot time and gives two high beeps. All modules are loaded perfectly. However, the last messages inform about some problems: Aug 28 21:51:31 diatel kernel: klogd 1.3-3, log source = /proc/kmsg started. I disable multi LUN support during boot kernel in the vmlinuz.config-pentium, change IRQ etc as was suggested in the PCMCIA manuals. Unfortunately it does not work. The message "aborting command due to timeout" follow during all session even trying LUN 0. Should be note that it tries LUN 1 once (still should???). After that it tries only LUN 0 given these messages. Please help!!!!
