Hi all,
I have just added an Acer 16x DVD-rom reader (combo 40x CD-rom) to my present system, which also has a 52x CD-rom (on /cdrom1 ) and HP CD-RW drive (on /cdrom).
The kernel correctly finds the DVD drive, and I can insert DVD's etc.
Now - question: How do I configure SuSE (6.4) address this drive ie. to mount it and access it from Linux?
Is there a way to do it within say Yast, or do I need to update any configuration files. I have been a bit spoilt up to now in that SuSE 6.4 did all the recognition work on the other devices when it was installed. How to display, and access from within KDE?
Add an entry for it to /etc/fstab -- Never trust a man in a suit -- cll -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
