Place in a loop for all files... cp $logname to Backup or wherever... cat /dev/null > $logname endloop. Don't mv the logfiles. Bruce.
Hello Linux folks, Does somebody know about utility for Linux which can trim log files to 0 size as it done on commercial Unix systems? Thanks in advance. Alex
