The important question: what's the video and audio chips?
That I'm not sure of.
According to our hardware (component) database (cdb.suse.de), the MX 59 Pro is supported. Don't know what the 'II' adds to this.
I believe 'II' adds a ATA66 controller chip, support for faster K6-2 CPUs and is a Micro-ATX form factor. I'm not interested in what the database says (not that the database or your response wasn't helpful). I'm more interested in learning what other users have went through when installing linux on this particular motherboard. There are several potential problem areas (audio, video, and ATA66) that I need to find out before I get the board. Otherwise, it might make more sense to get a different board (i.e., Tyan S1598).
