I use suse and kde at home. I work for Ask Jeeves (www.aj.com). For those who do not know it, it is a site that aims to help the user find information on the Web. I work in the section that does question and answer interfaces for tech web sites. I am currently working on the tech support pages of HP. Our public site does not have a whole lot of linux. So the editor in charge of that sector has asked me if there is a site or sites to partner with that provide content we could use as partners. I am not totally clear what partnership entails, I will find out more today, I hope. this came to me late yesterday. I will ask the $$ questions today. I know that we are on a drive toward profitabilty for Jeeves. It's that time in the life of the dot.com. I myself woudl like to work on linux on the public site, because it is open and free, and I love the open source point of view. So I am soliciting input from all of you on such a site or sties. Is there one? If not, can there be one? I am jsut starting to think about this, and your input would be of great value to me, to Jeeves and to beginning to intermediate users of Linux and Open Source software.
