First the maine question: My only Linux box has a Buslogic PCI SCSI card in it and at bootup the drivers for the SCSI card are loaded, what do I need to do exactly to stop the drivers from loading at bootup? I have had this SuSE machine up and running for a number of months now. I need to move Linux from this machine to another machine. After thinking about it for a few minutes, I realized that 99% of the two systems are going to be the exact same to Linux, so I can simply swap HD's, I hope. The hardware are two Pentium 233's, same NIC's, I will reconfig X, no sound. Both IDE, the current one has a Buslogic SCSI crd in it which controls the CD-Rom. Is there anything I need to worry about other then the SCSI card? I am thinking I will simply take the HD of one machine and putting it into the other.
