Thanks everybody who helped me, I tried FreeS/WAN with SuSE Linux 6.4 but now I have another trouble with it: when I'm starting connection by instruction: ipsec manual --up "name" I get this message: sh: ipfwadm: command not found I think it is because I use kernel 2.2.14 and ipchains. And I have another question: can I use SuSE Firewall with package FreeS/WAN or do I have to use own rules of ipchains? Could anyone help me with it? Download the freeswan rpm that SuSE has built, and you can create a IPsec tunnel between your firewalls. Assuming you are using Intel hardware, you can go here... ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.de/suse/i386/update/6.4/sec1/ - Herman Zdenek Hornych wrote:
Hi,
could anybody help me with right configuration tunnel and firewalls?
I have 2 private LANs with Linux firewalls (SuSE Firewall v2.1 on SuSE Linux v6.4). I need tunnel for connections workstations in first LAN (MS Windows) to servers in second LAN (Novell, NT, Linux). My firewalls have 2 LAN cards, I use masquerading.
I want to use sw CIPE v1.3.0, but my configuration is probably bad.
Thanks
