Hi,
Also, what tool should I use for configuring X?
I tried sax2, but it gives some weird error message, waits for a while, then starts up only to exit 10 seconds later.
Jon.
You could run (as root) XF86Setup.(sort of graphical)
Or, if you are a real hairy-chested Unix-type dude, XF86Config.(Not
graphical. Have a list of appropriate numbers and settings for video
card & monitor handy)
Sax is great, but this is how we did it back in the dark days, when the
bears were bad! :-)
