Do: echo "1" > /proc/sys/vm/heap-stack-gap you can write it in the /sbin/init.d/boot.local file to do it whenever you switch on your computer. Carlos

Hello all !
I try to install Jdk 1.3 but I have some problems. When I launched the java command I receive 'Seg. fault'. I try to see where is the problem with ltrace command.I attach the result of the trace.
In the readme file , at requirements Sun wrote :
" Check your version of glibc using the following command: ls /lib/libc-* The output of this command should show libc-2.1.so or higher." I don't find in SuSE 6.4 this library.Maybe this release of jdk don't work on SuSE. Can anybody help me ?
