Wanting to add X modes to my current configuration, I noticed that the `vidtune' program, which once was useful to me, is not there anymore.
Maybe, it's `xvidtune' you're looking for? `xvidtune' still comes with xf86 ;)
You are right, Karl. I wonder how I managed to _not_ find it... Thanks! P.S. - There is some nice magic I do not understand with the glass monitor. For the new resolution, I had to change positions and widths using the knobs, and I was thinking about the damage I was surely doing to the positions and widths for the original resolution. Not at all! Once done, when I switch resolution back, positions and widths were recovered, like if independent. Do monitors usually do that? (I see a big "ADC" on its frame, stroked with an almost undecipherable "Spectrum" :-). -- François Pinard http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~pinard -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
