Is there a way to view jpegs and mgeps with linux; in particular SuSE64? --- Ted Gervais 1-902-679-2253 Coldbrook, Nova Scotia Canada.
jpegs can be viewed with a lot of differant programs, here is a few.
Netscape, kview, kfm and zgv (full screen console)
And my favorite: kuickshow.
IIRC mpgs can be viewed in a program called xanim
I never get good playback with xanim. mtv is a great $10 shareware
program.

xanim is kinda clunky and doesn't work will all format (yet). I will give mtv a try and see how that performs, thanks.
