Hello everybody
Has anybody tried to upgrade the kernel 2.2.10 , to version 2.2.14. This version of the kernel of useful because it enables to recognise a Zip100 easily on a parallele port with imm module. This facility doesn't seem to run well on the kernel 2.2.10. I have checked.
Thanks for help Bye
Marc
Marc, I upgraded my 6.2 system to 2.2.14 by getting the sources at the ftp.suse.com ftp site with YAST from the d1 subdirectory of /pub/suse/i386/6.4/suse Do make sure you have a backup copy of your current kernel in /boot and update with lilo before you compile and install your new 2.2.14 kernel.
