Maybe this is old news, but I recently saw a new space sim/strategy game which looks really good. Out-of-the-box you can install it on Win 95/98, Mac, and Linux! The vendor is Vicarious Visions (http://www.vvisions.com http://www.vvisions.com ).
From their site, here are the system requirements for Linux:
Linux kernel 2.2.0 or greater X Windows glibc 2.1 or later pthread library 0.8 or later P2-300 or greater At least 64 megs of ram Glide or OpenGL/DRI compatible video card 4x or faster CD-ROM Recommended: Sound card Joystick TCP/IP network connection (for multiplayer only) I've only seen it in one store so far (Electronics Boutique in Raleigh, NC), and it was priced at about $45. Anyway, it's something to look out for if you like this type of game.
