Does anybody know about the use of Xemacs to create and, or validate sgml, xml, xhtml, and etc.,? I have found this to be an interesting subject. The w3c.org has a tool called tidy which will translate html to xhtml, and clean up the code with proper indentaton and such. I have attempted to verify the code thus generated using Xemacs, It doesn't seem to understand xhtml. While digging around on various sites I discovered that the Xemacs I have on my SuSE 6.4 dosen't seem to have the latest version of psgml installed with it. A straightforward install didn't fix the problem. If anybody understand how this stuff works, and what the current version are vis-a-vis SuSE 6.4, I'd be happy to know. It looks as thogh the verify function in Xemacs uses more than psgml, that is unless the info files installed on my SuSE box are out of date.
