[SLE] Request for advice on suitable DVD device

Hi all, I seem to remember this question being hinted at some days ago, but never quite seemed to get a useful answer. With SuSE being issued with a DVD disk, what equipment has the group found to work successfully with SuSE Linux 6.4? I believe that read-write DVD's are available - or at least due to emerge during this year. Can someone please advise. I see SuSE install the SCSI Toshibe 5x/32x DVD in their machines...
