Hi! I am trying to make my Hauppauge WinTV premio sound working properly. I have the sound working fine in mono quality, allthough it is supposed to support stereo. I cannot change the volume with xawtv, fbtv (with + and - keys, nor with remote), and there is no mixer else than my soundblasters. The syslog shows this when I load the modules (bttv, msp3400, tuner, i2c ...): Linux video capture interface: v1.00 i2c-core.o: i2c core module i2c-algo-bit.o: i2c bit algorithm module i2c-core.o: driver i2c msp3400 driver registered. i2c-core.o: driver i2c TV tuner driver registered. bttv: driver version 0.7.34 loaded bttv: using 2 buffers with 2080k (4160k total) for capture bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). bttv0: Brooktree Bt878 (rev 2) bus: 0, devfn: 160, irq: 10, memory: 0xe1001000. (I also don't know what's the fidling around bt848 when proc pci shows the chip is bt878. If anyone has this problem sorted (his/hers sound works properly with a hauppauge tv card in linux - could he/she please help me, cause I have read all the docs I could find, tried all possible drivers, but nothing happened - no stereo and no sound setting via xawtv/fbtv.
