1) Make sure that public_html is chmod a+r 2) Make sure you have: ~username/ with a forward slash If that doesn't work, make sure the parent directories are world readable too. Kev

Anyone know how to get Apache's mod_userdir for
to work in 6.4? The default directory for the user's page is ~/public_html/ but all I get is 403 forbidden on access attempts. I assume it's a user/group issue, but I'm not sure. It should work with the default config but doesn't for some reason. I've done this fine 2/3 times on Slackware but I'm stuck here :-P
Any ideas as I've been asked this one by 5 avid SuSE 6.4 users now?
