Hello,
I have dual boot Linux SuSE 6.4 and Win2000 Pro. I have two disk: hda with hda1 (Win2000 NTFS), hda2 (Linux ext2fs /boot), hda3 (Linux swap), extended hda5 (Linux ReiserFS /usr), hda6 (Data FAT32); hdc with hdc1 (Data NTFS), hdc2 (Linux ReiserFS /).
I has installed vmware from suse cd.
When i am in Linux and start vmware and configure to run win2000 I get blue screen and error: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.
When i am in Win2000 and run vmware with linux configuration I get: Partition check: hda: hda1 hda2 hda3 hda4 < hda5 hda6 > hdb: hdb1 hdb2 VFS: Cannot open root device 16:02 Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 16:02
This is my first vmware try and I am not so good in Linux. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

I'm not 100% sure I understand your problem, but I'll take a stab at it. First of all, the VMware your have on the SuSE cd will only work in linux. You will have to run the configure script and then the vmware-wizard to create a virtual machine, and then install windows or linux as guest OS's in a virtual machine (or FreeBSD). It will not work on the windows side of your box You need a different version for windows as a host OS. Maybe this will get you headed in the right direction.
