Does it suport wvdial ? Or must you use its own ppp dialer module/package ? At 10:34 AM 7/3/2000 -0700, Monte Milanuk wrote:
Check out Freesco. It is free for all uses (Coyote is not, IIRC), and does support dial-up. If you don't have any oddball hardware, setup can be as little as ten minutes. Plus it can be ran from a partition on the harddrive for better performance, logging, etc. Check it out at www.freesco.org Don't let the version number fool you. It works very well.

It looks interesting to me ,as I am realy tight on time over the summer. If it works and is realy easy to set up and meets my dial up modem and frewalling need then I will give it a go. I jusyt got too much stuff on my plate and dont have time to slug it out.
I allready have suse 6.3 loades on a pentuim 100 for the last three months , finaly gotten wvdial working on it , but have had no time to start working on ip masq and firewalling on it yet. So at this piont in time the coyote linux looks promising , especialy if I can get it working during one of my lunch breaks.

Coyote is the newest release of TurboLinux, if I'm not mistaken. Release 6.04 I believe.
