Hello,
It sounds very strange.
I just upgraded my computer at work that has the same 3Com 905B NIC to 2.2.16
kernel. I didn't notice any difference after I rebooted the system. Try to
compile this card driver not as a module but directly into the kernel . May be
this will solve your problem.
