Hello Linux folks, I got an old IBM PC with Cirrus Logic GD 5446 onboard video adapter. When I tried to configure it with XF86Setup and start xconfig I got segmentation fault error. I tried to use XF86_SVGA server but may be I'm wrong. What X server should I use with this adapter? Thank you in advance. Alex
Why are you using XF86Setup? I suppose it all comes down to the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." One thing that I pine for is SaX on my Debian box. I frequently make XF86Config files for other platforms, and SaX is bar none the BEST tool I've ever used. -- -=|JP|=- "Why, oh, why didn't I take the blue pill?"
