We pay developer to port it to all architectures. In the moment reiserfs
should work on all platforms, not only Intel. But the current reiserfs
implementation only exits for linux 2.4.0-pre, a backport for 2.2.x is
not done/ready yet.
Every development needs time and cannot be done in one night.

Linux is like a Vorlon. It is incredibly powerful, gives terse,
cryptic answers and has a lot of things going on in the background.
