Eek! It's a WinModem... :-/
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but this modem is a paper weight as
far as Linux is concerned. In an attempt to cut corners (and save $), the
makers of WinModems put essential components of the modem in Windows-only
software. I've already been bitten by this.
Oh, wait a minute... It appears the world progresses without me. I found a
binary-only kernel module for the Lucent PCI winmodem (at linmodems.org):

But remember, a WinModem is not a modem.
