there are so many different media types for that...
You are talking about a thing that looks like a floppy disk, were you
plug in a "chip" from your camera. In Windows, you'll probably pray to
the lord before inserting this into your disk drive and magically read
files with the "exploder".
If it works that way, try to read it same way from Linux, as root:

mount -tmsdos /dev/fd0 /floppy
ls -l /floppy
etc etc.

I am not to sure about these floppy sizes and wether these could cause
trouble, there is a bunch of /dev/fd0uXXXX devices about (different size
standard floppys, all different track / sector sizes). These sizes could
affect the usuability with mtools, thats why its probably better to test
it the above way.

We got recently a Minolta Camera at work and use microdrives (340 MB,
IBM) with a SCSII interface on NT. USB isn't yet supportet on NT,
Parport is s*it and this adaptor accepts a lot of different media. 340
MB is enough to run Linux from. Media size is about a big coin. This
solution is even Linux save. ;-)
