Remove the icons in $HOME/.kde/share/icons and also in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kpanel/pics. This makes the system read the deafault icons (in /opt/kde/share/icons) instead. Anders

I have been playing around with some themes lately and was wondering if there is a slick way to get all the default icons back (KDE)?
Some of the themes replace icons and others dont, which leaves me with a smattering of all the themes as far as icons go.
apply the "default" theme.
This didn't work for me. I still have icons other than the default and no K on the bar, just the little arrow. It works but there's noK there.
I get this problem when I change to the MAC theme, the little mac face remains when I try to change it back. I think the last time I had the problem I copied the config file from a new user account and that cleaned it up, but also wiped out any other changes.
