If there is an echo off command, or a @ in front of the command
and/or ulitmately no output is produced then the boot logo boots
up.

SuSE/Windows Mailing List now!? :)

And to comment on Phillip's comments - yeah, the more output the
better - but its all about choice. And ultimately, if users/customers
want it then ... there is a market for it.

And, now some PC manufacturers/BIOS manufacturers are even masking the
BIOS messages.

My stand on this? I turn the logos off - but I still like the choice
of being able to turn it back on.
