Title kind of says it all. Are the agpart patches in the 2.2.14 update kernel? I am trying to run the Quake 3 demo on my ATI XPERT 98 @ PLAY video card. I have the Utah-GLX accelerated OpenGL package installed and can run the demos. When I run Q3, I get a sheared image in just the top 3rd of the screen. Any hints, experience, web sites, FAQs, etc. are welcome.

Sounds like the glx driver doesn't recognize your 3D hardware or that
QuakeIII doesn't find the right glx libraries and is running in software
mode instead of hardware accelerated.
I don't believe that this is related to the agpgart patch applied to the
SuSE kernel.
