Do you have Timeout issues? If i set it greater than 110 minutes, it never times out. I get stuff from NTL (a Major UK backbone) every 2 minutes and i can't filter them out unless i use the firewall to drop them but i'm not in the mood to start doing that now. :-( Any ideas? 1. Note that /etc/wvdial.conf has a line "Idle Seconds = 180". "Idle Seconds" should simply be "Idle". YaST (actually wvdialconf?) needs to be changed to set this properly.
2. The "debug" option was left on in /etc/ppp/options -- this causes /var/log/messages to get swamped with two messages every 30 seconds.
