Hi Any pointers how to install Suse 6.3 (or 4) on a EISA bus based machine with a Compaq Smart array? I managed to get to access the SCSI CD-drive though the other SCSI adapter (NCR710xxx), but Yast compains of no hard drives present. All this I did by compiling another kernel for installation disk with that NCR710xxx and Smart array driver, but why is Smart array on block tree, not in SCSI as while booting Linux can't see but the NCR host adapter?
