Hi, ** I have two systems running at home, both Cyrix MII, ** same (DFI) mobos. The Win2K one bombs about 4-6 times ** a day (sometimes while just running a standard ** screensaver!), The Linux one never stops. Hmm... One of my friends had that on a pants MediaGX with windows 98SE. He bought a proper system in the end (an Asus board + genuine Intel P2-450 processor). The MediaGX (currently running SuSE 6.4) has been up since it was upgraded from SuSE 6.3. Now that is scary. It's as solid as a rock and it's load spends most of it's time at about 0.8-1.0. You could be right blaming the OS. I always do. ----------------------------------------------------------- Chris Smith IS Dept - Raytheon Systems Limited [chris.smith@raytheon.co.uk] +44 1279 407 103 ----------------------------------------------------------- This mail is sent courtesy of Lotus Notes...Thats why it's broken... http://www.lotus.com/ =========================================================== -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
