I have encountered some problem with the CL-Live card.
Generally, the card work very well with PII and PIII up to 500Mhz. However, for mobo and chip above 500Mhz, worst if the mobo is having 133Mhz FSB, the card goes "missing" sometime?
I discovered this problem on Asus's mobo, model are: B3-F, CUBX. Two Live card 99 model and the latest were used and found the same result.
The same issue was also found in win9x environment but there is a patch for that but I'm unable to locate something like that for Linux. :(
Just my finding and hope this help, somehow. Dennis/SG
Actually this might be quite interesting because I just assembled my machine with (guess what) ASUS K7M motherboard w/ 200Mhz FSB AMD Athlon 750Mhz So, that might be the explanation. I know that ASUS provides updated BIOS that deal w/ a bunch of reported problems... could there be a solution to this problem?
