Hello,
We have seen this problem too. Although it is not a real fix, the problem went away when you set Netscape to remember you password. (edit->preferences->mailserver. Select your server and click edit. Click the button "remember password".).

Go here: http://www.suse.de/en/support/download/updates/64_update.html. Scroll down to the 'xap' section and it will have netscape there. If you read the description, it will also have nsfix.rpm. Since you already have netscape, download that, and install it.
