Make sure you're compiling from SuSE modified sources, vanilla kernels don't have support for Reiser yet...

I want to compile a new kernel but I am wondering how do I get ReiserFS support in it. I tried to compile and reboot with the new kernel and it just says " VFS : Unable to mount root" root / is reiserfs -- James Ogley, SuSE Linux UK Ltd - +44 (0) 20 8 387 4088 @ Work: ogley@suse.co.uk www.suse.co.uk @ Home: james@rubberturnip.org.uk www.rubberturnip.org.uk ICQ: 57374251 Slashdot: riggwelter (84180)
