Thanks, but I typed "PostFix and Sendmail" at my login prompt but I didn't
get paged... ;)
All I'm looking for right now is a simply way to send a numeric page (I
have a numeric pager), thus yaps is more than I need right now. Something
as simple as:
echo "ATDT5551234,,911" > /dev/modem
sleep 5
echo "AT" > /dev/modem
But that doesn't work, of course, as I don't understand the hardware.
I guess I could get minicom to do that, but it seems like overkill for this
simple situation.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Bill Moseley
