Does @Home's TOS forbid running services? If so, dump 'em amd good
riddance. Your money is better spent on a service provider that
concentrates on providing you the bandwidth you pay for, without
dictating what you can or can not do with it.

Running windows is a requirement for DSL in your corner of the world?

A method for getting around this is to install windows on a junker box
just long enough to pacify a DSL installer. After the installer has
left, you port the DSL modem, NIC, and settings over to a linux box
and it's business as desired.
