Hi folks My copy of SuSE6.4 arrived this morning Upgrade went smoothly...but tke KMail version delivered is 1.0.28. The most stable version is 1.0.29.1, which I prefer to use. I have been unable to compile the source. When I run ./configure I get the following error message. checking for a C-Compiler... checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... yes checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) is a cross-compiler... no checking whether we are using GNU C... yes checking how to run the C preprocessor... gcc -E checking for a C++-Compiler... checking for g++... g++ checking whether the C++ compiler (g++ -s) works... no configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create executables. bash-2.03# As far as I can make out I have the correct packages installed.
