This is really Lame, Running Linux on an i386 compatible computer and trying out the the mediaring service to place free calls in the US, great for calling some help desk, I live in holland, over the internet. Needs java it says, well ok, I have that. Netscape or I.E. with javascript. Well Netscape I do have and I will enable javascript. So I enroll, login and click "Click to Start" and than this window pop's up: "This service is currently not available for Mac users" Well excuse me, but this is probably one of the most erroneous of error windows I have ever seen! And indeed if I check the source the following is in the html file: <!-- Begin Preload --><script language="JavaScript"> function CheckBrowser(){ var isWindows = false ; if((navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Win")) != -1) isWindows = true ; if(isWindows){ window.open('popup.phtml?id=161726&imgurl=','ui','toolbar=no,width=490,height=450,directories=no,status=yes,scrollbars=no,resize=no,menubar=no'); } else{ alert('This service is currently not available for Mac Users'); } } </script><!-- End Preload --> So, to the old owner of winfiles.com there exist only 2 operating systems in the world, of which we only support one. I think someone needs a wake-up call, for free ;-) BB, Arjen -- Sell what you use, use what you sell. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
